We hold a volunteering session on the second Sunday of every month, from 10am to 1pm (with a break for tea, coffee & biscuits!), during which we do a wide variety of tasks to help the Park Rangers manage Forest Farm.
What we do depends on the time of year and the weather, and includes coppicing trees, planting trees, sowing wildflower seeds, cutting back overgrowing vegetation, repairing the canal banks, hedge-laying, pulling Himalayan balsam, hay-raking and path maintenance.
Why not come along and help us do something that needs doing around the nature reserve?
All equipment is provided. Children welcome (under-16s must be accompanied by a parent/guardian/responsible adult).
We meet at the Wardens Centre, Forest Farm Road, CF15 7JJ, at 10pm.
