Friends of Forest Farm Annual Open Day!

Based around the Wardens’ Centre, the pond, orchard, stable block and adjacent buildings. Fun for all the family. Activities include Pond dipping with the Rangers, Seren Willow, Apple Pressing, Wool craft and Wood turning. More local crafts will on sale for charities. Refreshments available. Toilets and baby-changing facilities. All welcome. Free.

Come along and help us do something that needs doing around the nature reserve.

What we do depends on the time of year and the weather, but includes coppicing trees, planting trees, sowing wildflower seeds, hedge-laying, Himalayan balsam pulling, hay-raking and path maintenance. Tea, coffee & biscuits provided. Meet at the Wardens Centre, Forest Farm Rd Whitchurch. CF14 7JJ. All welcome.

Create a piece of Autumn art from leaves, nuts and berries to take home – autumn pictures and mobiles are favourites. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Meet at the Wardens Centre, Forest Farm Road, CF14 7JJ. Cost: £1.50 per child.
